The Big Easy- To begin, this movie has a great beginning; it pulled me right into it.This is something not usually seen in movies of this type, so it makes it an unusual, yet pleasant experience.The action scenes are really great. Dennis Quaid played his role great. Ellen Barkin actually caught my interest.

I think Dennis Quaid and Ellen Barkin worked wonderful in The Big Easy. The great supporting cast includes Dennis Quaid, Ellen Barkin, Ned Beatty, John Goodman, Lisa Jane Persky.

All in all, I would rate this movie an 8.5/10. I would definitely watch this movie again.

Summary of The Big Easy:
An atmospheric and sexy crime caper, this stars Dennis Quaid as a New Orleans police detective. He's a smooth talker who butts heads with the new assistant district attorney, Ellen Barkin. She's rigid and plays by the rules; he is mildly corrupt. They soon find themselves romantically entwined, and a bit chagrined.

Director Jim McBride (Great Balls of Fire) was in top form with this 1987 sizzler. You may not remember the particulars of the plot, which concerns supposed gang killings and police corruption, because it is the romance that has staying power. Blame this on Quaid and Barkin, who send off enough sparks to light up Bourbon Street. They are not only sexy together, but endearing, which makes you want to like them as much as they like each other. --Rochelle O'Gorman

I really loved the movie The Mark of Zorro. I really enjoyed watching Tyrone Power in this movie. I also think Linda Darnell was great!

Summary of The Mark of Zorro:
This swashbuckling remake of the silent classic stars Tyrone Power as the dashing masked avenger who single-handedly saves Los Angeles from Spanish despots. Don Diego Vega (Power) is summoned home from his elite training corps in Spain to California, where he finds his father deposed and the people living in tyranny. Disguised as Zorro, a sword-wielding mystery man dressed in black, he works to restore his father to power and return the tax money stolen by the villains (J. Edward Bromberg, Basil Rathbone). He even finds time to romance the ruling tyrant's beautiful niece (Linda Darnell).
