The Big Easy- To begin, this movie has a great beginning; it pulled me right into it.This is something not usually seen in movies of this type, so it makes it an unusual, yet pleasant experience.The action scenes are really great. Dennis Quaid played his role great. Ellen Barkin actually caught my interest.
I think Dennis Quaid and Ellen Barkin worked wonderful in The Big Easy. The great supporting cast includes Dennis Quaid, Ellen Barkin, Ned Beatty, John Goodman, Lisa Jane Persky.
All in all, I would rate this movie an 8.5/10. I would definitely watch this movie again.

Director Jim McBride (Great Balls of Fire) was in top form with this 1987 sizzler. You may not remember the particulars of the plot, which concerns supposed gang killings and police corruption, because it is the romance that has staying power. Blame this on Quaid and Barkin, who send off enough sparks to light up Bourbon Street.
